The vetting starts with regulatory compliance and licensing and typically involves a review of the property manager’s business history, financial stability, insurance coverage, service quality, and adherence to industry standards and practices. Dwellworks Living may also conduct interviews with the management team to validate their commitment to the customer experience , flexibility, and responsiveness. Our team’s portfolio management protocols also include visits to individual facilities and a review of the property’s policies and procedures for ensuring high-quality customer care.

As global employers determine their path towards carbon neutrality, they also require alignment among their suppliers. Dwellworks has taken action on ESG initiatives since 2021.

We survey our corporate housing partners annually to collect ESG data and ensure the best accommodations for our clients, asking questions about everything from diverse representation in their ownership and staff to itemizing the environmentally-friendly initiatives they have put in place for their properties. 30% of our accommodations solution partners identify as woman-owned and 97% confirmed they are actively on the sustainability journey in terms of their environmental actions and goals. In 2024, we’re adding sustainability criteria to our accommodations profiles and will make that information available when presenting options. We’re also committed to partnering with  the temporary living industry’s primary trade association – the Corporate Housing Providers Association - to build and share an agnostic, science-based calculator for measuring carbon emissions, available to all portfolio partners at no cost.  

We are proud of our social responsibility investments that include associate-led volunteer efforts in food banks, local schools, and shelters, and we are vocal and visible supporters of diversity and inclusion within our associate team and across our supply chains. We are proud co-founders and participants in Upward Mobility, committed to expanding the global mobility talent pipeline by hiring interns and recent college graduates from underrepresented populations.
