Corporate Relocation

Corporate relocation solutions offer fully furnished accommodations for professionals and often their families, typically needing a stay of 30 – 60 days. This type of temporary living is often used while the family looks for long-term unfurnished housing in their relocation destination.
The employee’s company works with a Dwellworks Living corporate housing account owner to define the client’s policy, practice, and expectations, and to create a custom interface that reflects the client’s policy and housing specifications. Typical corporate relocation policies would address a permanent or localized move where the employee moves to the payroll of their destination country, a long-term assignment of a year or more where the employee is moving at the company’s request but is still based in their origin location, or a short-term assignment, typically of several months, where the employee is sent to address a specific need for their company, most often unaccompanied by other family members.
Accommodations range from city high-rises to suburban townhomes and single-family homes at a variety of price points. Our client’s housing policy administrators work with our corporate housing managers to meet any specific needs, source well-matched housing solutions, and prepare guests and properties for their stay – whether they need the accommodations for 7 days, 12 months, or longer.

Every client who works with us (for any of the solutions listed in this blog) has access to our proprietary digital Market Rate tool – the industry’s only calculator to provide clients with on-demand reporting of pricing trends in hundreds of markets around the world. The Market Rate tool provides rates based on the trailing twelve-month average of our reservations data. It’s a great way to preview potential housing expenses.
Intern Housing Solutions

We’ve worked with one of the world’s largest retailers to secure housing for intern moves to several locations with multiple requirements. A recent project included moving hundreds of interns on short notice to 6 competitive rental markets: San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Dallas, Denver, Greater Washington DC, and Northern New Jersey. We also provided hotel options in the client’s nationally distributed field office locations.
How it works: After completing an initial request for housing that defines your intern program specifications and expectations, your intern program manager will be paired up with a dedicated account manager at Dwellworks Living who will set up reoccurring calls to design and execute an intern housing program that responds to every aspect of the intern’s stay. Whether the move-in date is immediate or within a few months, our team will prepare the housing with all expected amenities, accounting for any specific security, logistical, and transportation-related requirements. We also coordinate intern arrivals, check-in, and a welcome orientation. During their stay, we set up a dedicated Dwellworks Living service team to address every intern’s housing questions and provide a single point of communication.
Housing Solutions for Group Projects
While the level of service we provide for group moves is similar to what we deliver for individual business travelers, we can provide additional coordination and savings by sourcing housing for your group(s) in advance of an extended stay and concentrated in fewer properties. While some companies’ projects are known and planned in advance (such as technology installations or year-end audits), others can come together quickly when clients win new business, acquire new operations, or need to pivot their talent deployment strategy. Dwellworks Living has set up housing for groups of employees with as little as 7 days’ notice.
A typical group move involves detailed planning on our end to ensure all housing needs are met. We’ve put the business processes in place to manage multiple check-in and check-out dates, efficient occupancy of the units, and support services as needed while the group is ‘in residence.’ Also, because of our parent-company affiliation, we can access on-the-ground experts from our Dwellworks Destination Services team - their local insights and recommendations will make your employees’ stay both more enjoyable and more productive.

Turnkey Alternatives
Turnkey Alternatives are apartments we source and furnish on a client’s behalf and then manage as private inventory – just for your company. Typically, companies use this service when they need housing over an extended period of time for several different employees and require assurance of availability, confidentiality, and privacy. This service can also be offered as a solution for group projects or intern programs.
Because accommodations under this service are used on a rotating basis, Dwellworks Living takes great care as the property manager to coordinate arrivals and departures to maximize efficient occupancy and ensure a competitive return on the client’s investment.
Turnkey Alternatives are a great option in a specific market where the client has concentrated activity and there is a low volume of acceptable furnished units. We work with our housing partners on the ground in any city the client identifies to find units we can furnish and prepare in quick turn times.
VIP Guest Services
For all C-suite, executive, and high-profile individuals needing to relocate or travel for work, this is the ideal service. Do they need extra amenities for their stay? Are they coming and going on long flights and need a more comfortable space? Are there special requirements or requests for their room or their stay? Whatever the request, Dwellworks Living makes sure it’s fulfilled.
To request VIP Services, simply specify “VIP” on the Temporary Living/Housing Request form sent to us to initiate service and/or mention the guest’s name to your Dwellworks Living corporate housing manager. Be sure to tell us the expectations set for the VIP: accommodations upgrades, transportation coordination, food baskets and pantry stocking, etc., so we can plan accordingly and provide pricing for your approval for any external services. As soon as the VIP specification is made, the VIP housing request is automatically flagged in our internal systems.
VIP housing requests are assigned to a Lead Corporate Housing Manager who works closely with your dedicated Client Services Director (CSD) and communicates directly with the senior manager on site at the selected property. This collaborative approach ensures that the VIP experience is managed with an extra touch, enhanced oversight, and seamless communication.
