A Good 2021, A Great 2022
For all the ups and downs of 2021, it was a year when many companies continued to grow, adjust and even thrive. That was the case with many of our Dwellworks Living clients and with our business itself. A too quiet 2020 got ‘boosted’ by the first round of global vaccination efforts early in the year and a return to travel in mid-2021. Our volume of corporate housing requests increased by 300% vs the same period in 2020. And despite the volume of requests in the summer and the challenges associated with an expanding list of customer expectations for health, safety, local services and sustainability performance, our supply chain continued to respond with the right solutions, at fair value. That performance earned us multiple client awards as we crested into fall and….Omicron. The world is looking ahead however, and we are seeing strong bookings and arrivals in key markets across APAC, EMEA and the Americas. And our supplier confidence in our partnership, innovation and ability to build our client business has never been stronger: we added nearly 200 new partners in 2021 to meet growing global demand.
And good is about to get better. We are pleased to announce we have expanded our enterprise selling team with the addition of Eric Radefeld, who has joined Dwellworks Living as Sales Director effective this week. Based in Raleigh-Durham, NC, Eric comes to us with a successful sales history in finance and a passion for his family, customer connections, reading and research, and the Cleveland Browns. A great fit! And we will add additional talent in the coming few weeks.
